The KP Initiative designs positive atmospheres for intergenerational learning between minority males, with a strong emphasis on providing space for our Black and brown males. The initiative is respectfully named after the late, Kenneth L. Porter - beloved husband, father, and community servant. Like Mr. Porter, the initiative provides a safe space for expression, dialogue, bonding, and encouragement. We believe in the potential that lies within to change the narrative of their legacy to one filled with an unquenchable passion to serve their families and community, unhindered financial success, and unrestrained courage to leave a legacy that will inspire change.
Serving the community is a strong fabric of our existence. Service projects are intentional be they large or small. Our goal is to bring our men and boys together through leadership in service.
